Resin Bound Resurfacing has a Carbon Foot 20 Times Lower than Digging your Old Driveway up.

Did you know that digging up your old driveway, patio, path, walkway or pedestrian area has substantially higher carbon footprint and impact on the environment they re-using and resurfacing the existing.

Its also an incredible waste of a perfectly reusable substrate that will have gone through any settlement issues so is less likely to cause problems going forward.

Contact us today and we will be happy to visit and asses the suitability of your existing surface for reuse.

LAND PROJECTED TO BE BELOW
ANNUAL FLOOD LEVEL IN 2050

Most people are now aware that the change in climate is leading to higher water levels but how will this change the environment we live in?  What will the projected future look like without change? The maps below are a snapshot of how parts of the UK will look without meaningful change to behaviour and how we manage the run off of rain water. We can all take small steps that can add up to a big change. A BOUNDTEX or EcoTEX water permeable paving solution won’t solve the problem alone but it will play a small part of the bigger picture.

NEW DRIVEWAY RULES: MUST BE PERMEABLE

Homeowners face new driveway rules which could ban paving in front of houses. The new measures could impact homeowners and builders and bring more green spaces and less solid paving in efforts to help clean up Britain’s waterways. Paved driveways could be banned in new restrictions aimed at tackling river pollution in Britain. The government is considering new rules that could require homeowners to have sustainable drainage as part of their plan to clean up waterways. Solid paved driveways do not allow water to soak into the ground so we rely on drains instead. BOUNDTEX and EcoTEX are SUDs approved water permeable paving systems.
